Bredon Hill

00 Bredon Hill.jpg

We travel to Worcestershire for this photo. Bredon Hill, located within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding National Beauty, has its summit in Kemerton and is part of an additional eight parishes. It’s one of England’s most significant wildlife sites, with habitats ranging from scrub to grassland to woodland. In 1995, a sizeable part of the northern and western scarp was declared a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

In the photo, the shape of the tree’s foliage is reminiscent of the clouds, lending a surreal note. This is high summer, as the colours of the grassland show.
