Hazleton

Located in the Cotswold District of Gloucestershire, Hazleton is a picturesque village accessed along beautiful country lanes such as this one. I love how the curve of the road is echoed in the ploughlines in the field.
The village has an abbey, founded in the 12th century by the monks of Kingswood, and the abbey barn survives to this day. It’s in a rather dilapidated state, though, as it was very badly damaged by fire in 1885. There’s also a manor, which dates back to the 16th century.
