Equally validating: the discovery that many poets I admire are hooked as well — which makes sense, given that writing poems in form does seem to tap the same part of the brain as solving Wordle, or the Crossword, or the Spelling Bee, or Connections, or Strands, or… [hangs head in shame at magnitude of addiction].“
